“Man” has second baby; “Alternative lifestyle” agenda news roundup

June 9th, 2009 Comments off

The “alternative lifestyle” agenda has taken center stage in the last month, with some of the more notable examples being the proposed teaching of a “gay curriculum” to five year-old children, the potential “Gay Day” holiday in California (where students will be taught of the “gay legacy”), and the passage of hate crimes legislation that protects practices such as bestiality and pedophilia, while specifically targeting Christian pastors and groups who speak out against such perversions.

Here is a sampling of more news from the “alternative lifestyle” community over the past two weeks:

The days just before Christ return will full of wickedness. Jesus said in Matthew 24:12, “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of may will grow cold.” In Matthew 24:37, Christ said, “As the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” The Bible describes Noah’s day in Genesis 6:5 & 11:

The wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually… The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

Paul, in 2 Timothy 3, gives a view of what the earth will be like in these final hours. From 2 Timothy 3:2-5:

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.

Paul sums it up in verse 13 by stating, Evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

In April we posted about Ruppy, the dog that was genetically engineered to glow in the dark. Now Ruppy has had a puppy, and the man-injected gene has been passed on. The puppy also glows under fluorescent light.

Men continue to play God, becoming “inventors of evil things” (Romans 1:30).

Meet Ruppy, the puppy who glows in the dark.

Reading this reminds us that man cannot create anything; we an only manipulate that which is already in existence.  The true Creator brings something out of nothing, while we use what He has made and do new things.

We do not believe that cloning will play a significant role in prophecy, other than another proof of the incredible advancements in science. There are some, though, that believe the image of the beast (Revelation 13:15) will be a clone of the Antichrist. However, it seems much more likely that it will an advanced form of artificial intelligence.
