The Final Countdown

USA Today reports that Pope Benedict XVI is using his third encyclical to call for a God-centered global economy.  This one statement alone is fascinating on so many levels.

First, the Bible teaches that there will be a global economy (Revelation 13:16-18), and it will indeed be god-centered. That is ‘god’, with a lowercase ‘g.’ This world economy will be under the control of the Antichrist (Revelation 13:16), who claims to be God (2 Thessalonians 2:4; Revelation 13:5-6) and is worshipped as God by billions of people around the globe (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12). All of this will be facilitated by the False Prophet (Revelation 13:12-17), predicted for centuries to be the final pope–and the next one after Benedict XVI–by men such as St. Malachy and Pope John Paul II.

News from the last week shows the world is continuing to move towards globalization at a rapid pace:

• Obama to establish new financial agency with broad powers
• Obama plan to call for supervision of global financial firms
• China calls for new global currency
• Obama plans to divide oceans into ‘zones’
• Treaty to strengthen EU gets another chance

While seemingly unrelated, these four headlines are closely connected. The coming global government will begin in the EU and will include dividing the world into 10 ‘zones’ (Daniel 2:44; 7:7, 20, 23; 11:39; Revelation 12:3; 13:1; 17:3, 7, 12, 16). Once worldwide, the EU-birthed government will give its leadership over to the Antichrist (Daniel 7:8, 20, 24; 9:26; Revelation 13:1), who will attempt to use a global currency system to keep tabs on every human being (Revelation 13:16-18), plotting to kill those who refuse to use it (Revelation 20:4).

The Obama administration, in a cost cutting measure, is moving to scale back some of the database creating measures of the Real ID Act.

The new plan keeps elements of Real ID, such as requiring a digital photograph, signature and machine-readable features such as a bar code. States also will still need to verify applicants’ identities and legal status by checking federal immigration, Social Security and State Department databases.

But it eliminates demands for new databases — linked through a national data hub — that would allow all states to store and cross-check such information, and a requirement that motor vehicle departments verify birth certificates with originating agencies, a bid to fight identity theft.

The monitoring of citizens on a worldwide scale is key to the creation of a global government and to the ability of the Antichrist to track humans across the globe (see Revelation 13 & 14). While the proposed changes to the Real ID Act seem to take a step back from building a global watchdog database that includes Americans, the newly planned Pentagon cybercommand does the opposite. When created, the cyberdefense initiative will have the ability to monitor and log e-mails, instant message conversations, and web browsing history. While presumably the privacy of American’s will be safe unless they are talking to suspected terrorists (even though earlier this week the NSA admitted to intercepting more calls and e-mails of Americans than previously thought), the infrastructure will be in place to monitor and log all Internet and telephone communications with the flip of a switch.

Lest you doubt the goals, they are already implementing these plans in Britain, where everything from e-mails to Facebook messages are to be cataloged. Further, a system that is able to monitor all forms of communication worldwide (including cell phone and satellite usage) is already in existence (do a search on ECHELON after reading this post).

Meanwhile, the US State Department is sponsoring a conference on globalization. It is coming, and it is coming soon.

Here is a sampling of stories from the last two weeks showing human tracking technology in action.

In Britain, a mom is using GPS to keep her eye on her son’s gap year trip to Australia.  At any time she can sit down at a computer and know her son’s location within 15 feet.

At Aoyama Gakuin Univeristy in Japan, the GPS units in iPhones are being used to track attendance of students. The school passed out iPhones with a special attendance application on them to all pupils. When students enter a classroom they activate the application, which registers the GPS location with the university.

Last week, the Oakland city council approved a proposal that would issue ID cards to all residents, becoming the third city in the United States to do so. Oakland’s close neighbor, San Francisco, began an ID program in January. The Federal Real ID ACT mandates that all driver’s license’s and ID cards contain chips holding personal information (and potentially be track-able by satellites) no later than May 11, 2011–the same date as the policy goes into effect in Europe.

In London, Alzheimer’s patients are now being issued shoes with GPS chips in them, so they can be tracked in real time.

The Antichrist and False Prophet will desire to use this technology to track every human being on the planet (Revelation 13:16-18), perhaps even using poison filled chips to kill those who do not follow the Antichrist completely.

That’s the Orwellian future a Saudi inventor was seeking to bring to Germany until that nation’s patent office announced last week it was rejecting his request to patent what has been dubbed the “Killer Chip.”

The tiny semiconductor device is intended to be surgically implanted or injected into the body, according to the patent application, for the purpose of tracking visitors from other nations by global-positioning satellites and preventing them from overstaying their visas.

…The device would emit encrypted radio waves that would be picked up by satellites and “used to track fugitives from justice, terrorists, illegal immigrants, criminals, political opponents, defectors, domestic help, and Saudi Arabians who don’t return home from pilgrimages,” Sweden’s The Local reported.

The application included a request to patent a model B of the device that could release poison to “eliminate” the individual if he or she became a security risk.

Thirteen states have begun “tagging” certain criminal offenders and monitoring their whereabouts using global positioning system technology. In most cases this is reserved for sex-offenders or domestic abusers. However, a Wisconsin appeals court ruled last week that police can secretly track anyone at any time for any reason, by attaching a GPS unit to a vehicle, phone, or wherever else they think they can get away with it. This isn’t reserved for folks with criminal records–they can track whomever they feel like, without even having a reason.

With most cell phones and cars now coming with built in GPS systems, there isn’t even a need to use a secondary GPS device; they can simply tap into the one you have now. Applications such as Mologogo and BuddyWay already allow friends and parents to track the whereabouts of others from a computer or mobile phone.

This is exactly what the Antichrist will soon do. He will purpose to track the location and transactions every human on the planet (Revelation 13:16-18) by forcing people to take a microchip in their right hand of forehead (Revelation 13:16, 14:9, 20:4). The technology is presently in use and being further developed, including miniature flying cameras. A car is even being developed that allows the government to track every move of your car and control how fast you are driving. Amazing!

During the Tribulation, The Antichrist and False Prophet will make attempt to implant every human being with a tiny microchip in order to track their whereabouts and financial transactions (Revelation 13:16-18). Thanks to the Minnesota based corporation Digital Angel, this technology already exists and is in use for a wide array of programs. If the Antichrist decides he wants to watch you on live video instead of following a blip on a computer screen, he can use the new PD-100 miniature spy helicopter:

Weighing in at just 0.5g, the tiny servos mean the PD-100 is even smaller than a toy battery helicopter.

Powered by an electric motor, the microcopter has 4in rotor blades, carries a tiny digital camera and flies at speeds of up to 20mph.

‘The helicopter can be carried in a pocket and launched within seconds to give immediate situational awareness,’ said Petter Muren, boss of manufacturers Prox Dynamics.

If anything were to happen to the aircraft whether due to flat batteries, a crash or even a rolled-up newspaper, no matter – several cheap replacements could easily be carried.

The standard package will come with three aircraft, a pocket controller and a charger.

A worldwide database of citizens is already in the works. In Britain, at least 850,000 people have become unwitting participants in a government DNA database. Here in the United States, at least 29 states have begun compiling DNA databases using birth records while the federal government records the GPS coordinates of where you live.

When the world-wide tracking system is instituted, tagged humans will have a microchip placed in their right hand or forehead (Revelation 13:16, 14:9, 20:4). Anyone accepting this mark will be eternally lost (Revelation 14:11). Many millions will reject it and be saved as the gospel will be spread around the globe by 144,000 Messianic Jews (Revelation 7:4-8).  Sadly, most of these converted souls will face death, as their own family members will turn them in for becoming Christians (Mark 13:12-13) causing these new saints to be beheaded (Revelation 20:4).

A man in France was detained for 24 hours and strip searched, all because he received a text message, sent by a friend as a joke:

An innocent man was strip-searched and held in a cell for 24 hours after receiving a joke text message from a friend about sabotaging a train.

The 29-year-old was arrested after his mobile phone provider passed on details of the message to police – who accused him of not reporting a crime.

The case, which happened in France, provoked widespread outrage about the ’sinister’ march of the Big Brother state there.

The man, referred to only by his first name of Stephane, received a message saying ‘Do you know how to de-rail a train?’ last month in Abbeville, in the Somme region.

The woodworker thought nothing of the text but hours later he was arrested.

Europe is taking monitoring its citizens seriously. In Britain, the plan is to not only monitor text messages, but email, instant messages, Facebook messages, and web browsing history as well. Currently, Welsh parents are running a test program where they monitor their children via GPS; microchips are being used to track Alzheimer’s patients; and a program is in development to use microchips to monitor medicine intake.

The nations of the EU have and use monitoring technology already, which is no surprise since the Antichrist comes from the EU (Daniel 7:8, 20, 24, 9:26; Revelation 13:1), and plots to use microchips to track every human on the planet (Revelation 13:16-18). Humans will likely be monitored by the Belgian Electronic Accounting Surveillance Terminal, an EU supercomputer with an acronym (BEAST) that is the same as one of the names used for the Antichrist (Revelation 13:1).

But Europe is not alone. America is already compiling a vast database on its citizens, including DNA tracking from birth in many states. The US also has the stunningly powerful SBX Radar system, which can be used to track a baseball from 3,000 miles away.

The next step is to have “smart” computers, with near human abilities thanks to artificial intelligence. Such technology is being developed at an incredible pace. The Japanese have developed a robot that learns and grows, mimicking an infant. Meanwhile, Harvard is set to launch a new search engine that is able to “understand like a human does.” All of this will come together to make smart microchips, such as the GPS system being developed in the UK that “senses” you can’t find what you are looking for in the cabinet or grocery store, and points you in the right direction.

This is the technology of the False Prophet, a man who comes from a Christian background but is actually controlled by demons (Revelation 13:11). This apostate sets up “images” of the resurrected Antichrist (Revelation 13:14) that are likely robots with high levels of artificial intelligence, and forces humanity to worship them (Revelation 13:15). He is also the one responsible for implementing the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-17).

***In the UK, the fight over mandatory biometric ID cards is heating up. Some are now pushing to require only passports to be tagged with personal data, an effort to save money. A similar measure in the United States (Real ID Act) was set to go into effect in May 2008, but has since been given a mandatory comply date of May 11, 2011. Most states will be in compliance well before that date.

These actions are laying the groundwork for the Antichrist to tag all humans (Revelation 13:16-18). The Antichrist will arise out of the European Union (Daniel 7:20, 24, 9:26), issue the “mark of the beast” (Revelation 13:17), and track people using an already existing supercomputer at European Union headquarters known as the Belgian Electronic Accounting Surveillance Terminal–the BEAST. What at appropriate name as this computer will control economic activity (Revelation 13:16-18) and provide surveillance through GPS location technology.

***In an absolutely sick development, a British couple is suing the National Health Service because the NHS failed to talk them into having an abortion. Yes, we have a “wrongful-birth” lawsuit because the child was born with some defects. Meanwhile, a debate rages in Britian over whether it is sexist to tell women not to consume alcohol while pregnant. Back in the US, Democrat Senator Patty Murry says that laws that allow physicians who oppose abortion to refuse to perform the procedure are “short-sighted” and should be overturned by President Obama. God help us.

Condensing the days news into one post worked well yesterday, so we are going to do it again. There is a lot of stuff going on.

***The Egyptian news weekly Al-Usbua reports (via the Jerusalem Post) that an Iranian vessel attempting to deliver weapons to Hamas was destroyed by either an Israeli or American vessel off the Sudanese coast. Along those lines, a report released by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute today says that arms transfers to the Mideast are up 38 percent since 2004, with many of them going to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia from the United States. All this happens while Syria and Turkey stage joint military maneuvers, a “disturbing development” according to Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

It is appropriate that so many arms and military exercises are happening in the region, and all of the above nations have a part in the Russian led march on Israel (Ezekiel 38:15), but not on the same side. While Iran (Ezekiel 38:5), Syria (Isaiah 17:1, Psalm 83:8) and Turkey (Ezekiel 38:6) will join with Russia and many other Arab nations (Psalm 83:4-5), Saudi Arabia and the UAE (Ezekiel 38:13) will team with the United States to defend Israel (Isaiah 18:7).

***Israel’s population is nearing 7.5 million, with over 5.5 million of those being Jews. Yet Palestinians continue to refuse to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will not accept eastern Jerusalem as being part of Israel, and that is critical to future events. Very soon Israel will sign a peace contract that creates a Palestinian state and divides up Jerusalem (Joel 3:2; Zechariah 14:2), but this is a contract Israel signs with “death and hell” (Isaiah 28:15) and will only last 42 months before the Russian & Arab march on Israel (Ezekiel 38:11; Daniel 9:27).
