The Final Countdown

***In the UK, the fight over mandatory biometric ID cards is heating up. Some are now pushing to require only passports to be tagged with personal data, an effort to save money. A similar measure in the United States (Real ID Act) was set to go into effect in May 2008, but has since been given a mandatory comply date of May 11, 2011. Most states will be in compliance well before that date.

These actions are laying the groundwork for the Antichrist to tag all humans (Revelation 13:16-18). The Antichrist will take control after the earth is divided into 10 zones (Daniel 7:20, 24, 9:26), issue the “mark of the beast” (Revelation 13:17), and track people, probably using an already existing supercomputer at European Union headquarters known as the Belgian Electronic Accounting Surveillance Terminal–the BEAST. What at appropriate name as this computer will control economic activity (Revelation 13:16-18) and provide surveillance through GPS location technology.

***In an absolutely sick development, a British couple is suing the National Health Service because the NHS failed to talk them into having an abortion. Yes, we have a “wrongful-birth” lawsuit because the child was born with some defects. Meanwhile, a debate rages in Britian over whether it is sexist to tell women not to consume alcohol while pregnant. Back in the US, Democrat Senator Patty Murry says that laws that allow physicians who oppose abortion to refuse to perform the procedure are “short-sighted” and should be overturned by President Obama. God help us.

Also from the US, New Hampshire is poised to become the fifth state to legalize gay marriage, with more soon to follow. The homosexual movement is having great success this month, with three more states now allowing same-sex marriage. Additionally, the US House of Representatives passed a bill that will give gays protections that heterosexuals do not enjoy.

The United States is sliding backwards (Isaiah 18:2, 7) and has detached from its Godly founding (Jeremiah 50:28), and her mother Britain is becoming an absolute mess (Jeremiah 50:12). It is because of these sins that God sends His judgment upon America (Jeremiah 50:14, 28), likely in the form of a nuclear missile attack (Jeremiah 50:14, 29, 51:3, 11) from Russia (Jeremiah 50:9, 41, 51:48) , fired directly over top the north pole.

***China has reopened its borders with North Korea, allowing citizens to freely travel between the nations. China and North Korea have strong relations, and they will only strengthen over the next few years as these two nations join with others to march on the Middle East (Revelation 16:12).

***A 5.6 magnitude earthquake shook southern Iran Thursday. Because of its location on a seismic fault, it isn’t out of the ordinary for Iran to experience significant jolts several times a month. However, the strength of these quakes are intensifying, one of the signs that Jesus is coming soon (Matthew 24:7; Mark 13:8; Luke 21:11).  During the Tribulation earthquakes reach an incredible magnitude, especially in the Mid East region (Revelation 6:12, 8:5, 11:13, 19).

Still, the most powerful earthquakes in history are reserved for the Lord Jesus Christ. The two previous greatest quakes occurred at the crucifixion (Matthew 27:51-54) and the resurrection (Matthew 28:2). But the grandest of them all happens when Jesus ascends to earth and places His feet on the Mount of Olives (Revelation 16:18), causing the Mount to split from east to west, creating a large valley (Zechariah 14:4).

***In Lebanon, jailed Brigadier General Jamil al-Sayyed was among those released by a UN-backed tribunal, a move that many feel will enhance chances of Hezbollah gaining power during the June 22 elections (which we touched on briefly yesterday). Whether it happens after the June 22 elections or at a later date, Lebanon will be controlled by anti-Israeli factions and join with Russia (Psalm 83:7) to attack Israel (Psalm 83:4-5).

China is celebrating the anniversary of the formation of the People’s Liberation Army (of Communism) by displaying its naval strength.  While China claims the naval show of forces is for “peace, harmony, and cooperation at sea,” the ChiComs are actually building up strength in order to use it. Recently they have been caught stalking US warships, hacking into the Pentagon, installing trojan horse software on the US power grid, and placing articles of subterfuge on US military aircraft.  The Chinese military has also developed a “kill weapon” for the sole purpose of taking out US battleships and aircraft carriers.

China will lead a massive army (Revelation 9:16) from multiple Oriental nations (Revelation 16:12) down the Euphrates River (Revelation 16:12; Isaiah 11:15) and into the Middle East. Nuclear weapons will be used during this campaign (Joel 2:30, Revelation 8:7, 9:18)

On April 8 we wrote about the spy network and trojan horse software that China & Russia have installed on America’s national defense network. Now, thanks to the Times of India, we learn that China has also set up a system to sabotage US military aircraft:

The Chinese cyber spies have penetrated so deep into the US system — ranging from its secure defence network, banking system, electricity grid to putting spy chips into its defence planes — that it can cause serious damage to the US any time, a top US official on counter-intelligence has said.

“Chinese penetrations of unclassified DoD networks have also been widely reported. Those are more sophisticated, though hardly state of the art,” said National Counterintelligence Executive, Joel Brenner, at the Austin University Texas last week, according to a transcript made available on Wednesday.

Listing out some of the examples of Chinese cyber spy penetration, he said: “We’re also seeing counterfeit routers and chips, and some of those chips have made their way into US military fighter aircraft.. You don’t sneak counterfeit chips into another nation’s aircraft to steal data. When it’s done intentionally, it’s done to degrade systems, or to have the ability to do so at a time of one’s choosing.”

China will join with other Oriental nations to march on the Middle East (Revelation 9:16; 16:12), but only after the US has been disabled (Jeremiah 50).

One day after a US government official warned of a growing threat from cyber attacks, Siobhan Gorman of the Wall Street Journal reports that spies from China and Russia have installed trojans onto the United States electrical grid:

Cyberspies have penetrated the U.S. electrical grid and left behind software programs that could be used to disrupt the system, according to current and former national-security officials.

The spies came from China, Russia and other countries, these officials said, and were believed to be on a mission to navigate the U.S. electrical system and its controls. The intruders haven’t sought to damage the power grid or other key infrastructure, but officials warned they could try during a crisis or war.

“The Chinese have attempted to map our infrastructure, such as the electrical grid,” said a senior intelligence official. “So have the Russians.”

The espionage appeared pervasive across the U.S. and doesn’t target a particular company or region, said a former Department of Homeland Security official. “There are intrusions, and they are growing,” the former official said, referring to electrical systems. “There were a lot last year.”

Many of the intrusions were detected not by the companies in charge of the infrastructure but by U.S. intelligence agencies, officials said. Intelligence officials worry about cyber attackers taking control of electrical facilities, a nuclear power plant or financial networks via the Internet.

Authorities investigating the intrusions have found software tools left behind that could be used to destroy infrastructure components, the senior intelligence official said. He added, “If we go to war with them, they will try to turn them on.”

Officials said water, sewage and other infrastructure systems also were at risk.

This could be used to fulfill a prophecy found in Jeremiah 51.

Once again, a Chinese operation has been discovered aiding Iran in the procurement and development of nuclear weapon technology.

A Chinese company and one of its employees were charged with misusing U.S. banks and aiding Iran’s acquisition of missile and nuclear technology, Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau said.

Morgenthau filed a 118-count indictment today against LIMMT Economic and Trade Co., and Li Fang Wei, a manager at the Dalian, China-based company. LIMMT is a major supplier of banned weapons to the Iranian military, Morgenthau said.

In the three years since LIMMT was sanctioned, it used aliases to send banned missile, nuclear and other “dual use” materials to subsidiaries of the Iranian Defense Industries Organization, Morgenthau said. The organizations Iran set up to get and produce weapons included Amin Industrial Group, Khorasan Metallurgy Industries, Shahid Sayyade Shirazi Industries and Yazd Metallurgy Industries.

Among the materials shipped from LIMMT to the Iranian Defense Industries Organization were 15,000 kilograms of an aluminum alloy used almost exclusively to make long range missiles; more than 30,000 kilograms of tungsten-copper plates, and 1,700 kilograms of graphite cylinders used for banned electrical discharge machines, according to the indictment.

China and Russia will continue to help Iran with its goal of acquiring nuclear weapons. Iran, along with many other Arab nations, will join with Russia to attack Israel (Psalm 83:4-5). China will then swoop in against Israel, bringing North Korea and other nations along (Revelation 16:12) to form the largest army ever assembled (Revelation 9:16).
