Fears of swine flu increase amidst vaccine troubles

A look at recent swine flu related headlines shows a growing concern spurred by the rapid spread of the disease, coupled with its developing resistance to drugs and a delay in vaccine production:
- Millions of Floridians could contract swine flu within a year
- Swine flu could hit 40% of Americans
- Swine flu death toll reaches 31 in UK
- Swine flu leaps to 100,000 suspects in a week in UK
- Tamiflu-resistant swine flu strain found in Canada
- Crisis to hit millions as vaccine suffers hitch in production
In Revelation 6 we see the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse ride. The Pale horse kills a fourth of the earth with disease attributed to war, hunger and the beasts of the earth (Revelation 6:8). The deadliest fast-spreading diseases of our time come from animals, including Ebola (monkeys), AIDS (green monkey virus), avian flu (birds), and the above diseases, among many others.
