Swine flu cases skyrocket; UK preps for 65,000 deaths

This week’s animal-borne flu headlines show that the disease is spreading very fast, causing governments to prepare for the worse:
- (UK’s) NHS prepares for 65,000 swine flu deaths
- Number of people suffering from swine flu symptoms rises by 50% in one week
- (UK) swine flu cases soar six-fold in one week
- Swine flu spreading fast, even in summer
- Swine flu strikes cadets at Air Force Academy
- Swine flu fears close summer camps
- West Nile virus detected in New York
In Revelation 6 we see the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse ride. The Pale horse kills a fourth of the earth with disease attributed to war, hunger and the beasts of the earth (Revelation 6:8). The deadliest fast-spreading diseases of our time come from animals, including Ebola (monkeys), AIDS (green monkey virus), avian flu (birds), and the above diseases, among many others.
