North Korea shifts power to military, prepares for war

May 5th, 2009

James Rosen reports that Kim Jong Il, dictator of North Korea, has begun shifting the nation’s seat of power to the military. North Korea, possessor the world’s largest stockpile of artillery, has recently test-fired new missiles and promised to restart its nuclear weapons program.

Shifting power to the military is the latest step North Korea is taking to prepare of its role in the deadliest battle in history, when the country joins with China and other “kings of the sun rising” (Revelation 16:12) to form a two-hundred million man army (Revelation 9:16) that marches down the Euphrates River to Israel (Revelation 9:14, 16:12; Isaiah 11:15). This is the second wave of an assault by many nations led by Russia (Ezekiel 38:15; Psalm 83:5).  Over two billion people will die during this attack (Revelation 9:15, 18), no doubt due to the use of nuclear weapons (Revelation 8:7Zechariah 14:12; Joel 2:3).

Joel 2:3-5:

A fire devours before them,

And behind them a flame burns;

The land is like the Garden of Eden before them,

And behind them a desolate wilderness;

Surely nothing shall escape them.

Their appearance is like the appearance of horses;

And like swift steeds, so they run.

With a noise like chariots

Over mountaintops they leap,

Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble,

Like a strong people set in battle array.

Zechariah 14:2:

And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:

Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,

Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,

And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths

Perfect descriptions of nuclear war and its aftereffects.
